Join special guest counselors to explore nature through art. Fueled by the beauty of nature and its many wonders, this will be a fun and exciting week made to push the boundaries of creativity while immersed in the outdoors. We will use the elements of nature as both material and inspiration for art, exploring mediums such as painting, drawing, sculpture, and textiles. Campers will be able to explore many different art techniques while also bringing home unique, original creations! Who: Children who will be entering 1st through 4th grades in fall 2026, or equivalent When: Monday, July 27, 2026 – Friday, July 31, 2026, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM Where: Sheep Hill, 671 Cold Spring Road, Williamstown, MA 01267 Want to become a member of Williamstown Rural Lands? You can sign up here. This is an all-weather program, and kids will enjoy outdoor activities rain, snow, or shine. However, Williamstown Rural Lands reserves the right to delay or cancel programming if weather conditions are deemed unsafe. A light snack will be provided daily. Please pack plan to pack lunch for your camper. Financial Aid Financial Aid in the form of “camperships” is available to families who demonstrate a financial need. Camperships are offered on a first-come, first-serve rolling basis. For questions or to apply, please email the programs director at programs@rurallands.org. __________________________________________________________________________ Program location Sheep Hill (671 Cold Spring Rd., Williamstown) is the office location for Williamstown Rural Lands. Kids programs will meet in the Dietze Interpretive Center, a refurbished dairy barn, or the Rosenburg Room, an indoor classroom space in the farmhouse. Programs are mostly outdoors except for inclement weather (extreme cold/hot, heavy rain/snow/ice). Outdoor spaces include our Nature Cabin exploration center, Josiah's Pond, Hemlock Brook, and all the fields and hedgerow forests at Sheep Hill. Information packet for parents will be provided before the start of the program. These camps must comply with regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and be licensed by the Williamstown Board of Health.
