Experience the vibrant traditions of African diasporic dance, drum, and song rooted in West African and Caribbean culture. Master Dancer Noel Staples-Freeman leads the Berkshire African Dance & Drum Collective in workshops and performances that foster creativity, cultural pride, and collective healing. Sister Noel is joined by Master Drummer and educator Aimee Gelinas, in partnership with Tamarack Hollow Nature & Cultural Center.
The event also features a special performance by Gaia Roots, a world music and dance ensemble.
Everyone is welcome — all ages and backgrounds. Come ready to participate, move, and explore rhythm and cultural expression together.
