The Berkshire Economic Recovery Project (BERP) Technical Assistance Program is offering a second free workshop this month, focused on succession planning for small business owners.

Succession Planning for Small Businesses: Understanding Your Options and Preparing for Transition takes place on Wednesday, May 13, from 8:30 to 10am. The session will be facilitated by Robin Helfand and will cover the range of options available to business owners looking ahead to an eventual transition — whether that means a sale, family succession, or employee ownership.

As with all BERP workshops, space is very limited, with each cohort capped at five to seven participants. Registration is required, and the workshop is free of charge.

A companion workshop on employee ownership, facilitated by Kevin Pink, took place on May 7. Both are part of BERP’s Spring 2026 Technical Assistance Offerings.
